A set of two purple dominant rough boulder opal rocks. Rock 1 features a glassy opal deposit on main face. Characterful wood grain like patterns in the rock material. Rock 2 features opal deposits on three adjacent faces. Traces of potential additional internal seams to explore. These rocks are ideal to cut to multiple jewellery stones. Ironstone host rock mined at famous Winton opal fields. Mine Area: Central West Queensland, Australia. Total weight approximately 303 grams. Sizes approx. (1) 6 x 4 x 3 (2) 6 x 6 x 4 cm.
